Our Process
Commercial credentialing commonly takes 60–120 days. Complete applications and steady follow-up are what keep it on the shorter end.
Step 1
We collect licenses, DEA, malpractice, CV, and NPI details once — and reuse them everywhere.
Step 2
We prioritize payers by your patient mix and check which panels are open in your area.
Step 3
Submissions, then scheduled follow-ups with each payer until a decision is made.
Step 4
We confirm effective dates and fee schedules, and load them so billing can start cleanly.
Credentialing FAQ
Commercial payer credentialing commonly takes 60 to 120 days, and Medicare enrollment often takes 30 to 60 days once a complete application is submitted. Timelines depend on the payer, the state, and how quickly documents and signatures are provided. Starting early is the best way to avoid seeing patients you can't bill for.
CAQH ProView is the online profile most commercial payers use to review a provider's credentials. We create or update your profile, upload documents, complete re-attestation every 120 days, and keep it current so payer applications are not delayed.
Typically your state license, DEA and state controlled substance registration if applicable, board certification, malpractice insurance face sheet, CV with month and year dates, NPI numbers, W-9, and practice location details. We send a simple checklist and track down anything that is missing.
Some commercial payers close panels in certain areas or specialties. When that happens we look at options such as requesting an exception, applying through an affiliated group, or prioritizing other payers that serve your patient population, and we tell you plainly what is realistic.
